Sometimes working at home and cooking at home don't mix well.
Example : I started making a batch of homemade tomatillo salsa today(with garlic and cilantro). I unhusked the tomatillos, put them in a pot of water, and went back to work.
An hour later, I smelled something kinda good...then about 15 min later, heavy into a budget revamping worksheet, I decided to check on my tomatillos....it seemed like just a few minutes had gone by! I couldn't believe how burnt they got so fast!
So I'm calling it a day, and off to Whole Foods to start a fresh batch. Sometimes working at home isn't all the great. Maybe I can write the salsa off my income taxes...???
